On Monday, May 29th, 2017 The Forged Athlete Gym will host it’s 4th Memorial Day Murph HERO Workout.
The Forged Athlete is again holding the Murph HERO Workout Challenge to not only show our deep appreciation to Michael Murphy and his fellow war veterans, but to help memorialize ALL the Heroes that have given their lives so that we can enjoy our freedoms as Americans.
If you seen the movie or read the book, “The Lone Survivor” you’d realize that this little challenge workout is NOTHING in comparison to the brutal unknown’s that our military HERO’S encounter in the rigors of battle.
That movie is only a small depiction of what really happened…
Details Of “Murph” Memorial Day Throwdown Challenge:
Where: The Forged Athlete Gym – 6229 N 89th Circle
When: Monday May 29th @ 10am
What: Community “MURPH” Memorial Day Throwdown + BBQ (bring some meat for the grill and sides to enjoy after we all suffer together and pay tribute to MURPH and ALL of our fallen HERO’s)

For this HERO Workout, there are a few different options in which you can choose to do to help suit YOUR fitness level:
50 Pull Ups
***Regress to Assisted Pull Ups / Jumping Pull Ups / Recline Rows…
100 Push Ups
1 Mile Run
100 Pull Ups
200 Push Ups
1 Mile Run
** in a 20 lbs weighted vest**
Team Murph – A team of 2 will do 1 Mile Run Together then split up 100 Pull Ups (Or Assisted Pull Ups OR Recline Rows), 200 Push Ups, 300 Squats, 1 Mile Run
